Bandie
Bandie is my band. I play guitar and produce and mix all of the band’s music at Yardlights Studio. The songs are written by myself and Bandie singer Brian Hill. We released an EP in 2019 and five singles that all came out in the past few years. Our debut album “Slow Down” was released Jan 31 2026.
Rod Alonzo
Rod Alonzo is an incredible artist. His song “Too Late” comes out April 7 on Yardlights Records.
some artists I’ve worked with
citizen king
I got my start making records playing guitar in the band Citizen King. We signed to Warner Brothers and were lucky enough to make our album Mobile Estates with production legend Eric Valentine. Eric taught me so much about making records. I am grateful to have worked with him. We had a top ten hit with our song “Better Days (And the Bottom Drops Out)”
The promise ring
I worked with The Promise Ring a few times. My first experience with them was recording Davey Von Bohlen’s vocal on “A Praise Chorus” by Jimmy Eat World. Through that, I developed a working relationship with the band. I recorded the demos for the Wood Water album. Those sessions were really fun. There was a lot of experimentation and a lot of what we did ended up being a template for the album.
Paris Texas
I produced the band Paris Texas’ debut LP Like You Like an Arsonist. We recorded the record at Bitch Vig’s legendary Smart Studios in Madison, WI.
maritime
I produced Maritime’s album We, the Vehicles at my own studio in Milwaukee, WI. I love the songs that record. It was well received both here and abroad, particularly in Japan. By a stroke of luck, I got to see the band perform in Tokyo when they were touring for the record that we made in Japan. An incredible memory for me. I love seeing the artists I work with shine.
silversun Pickups
I was lucky to engineer the band’s 2009 album Swoon. The record was produced by my good friend and collaborator Dave Cooley. The album was critically acclaimed and the band earned a #1 chart position with the song “Panic Switch.”
rebelution
I mixed the reggae hit “Good Vibes” by Rebelution, Lutan Fyah. The song was produced by Yeti Beats.
midoca
I mixed Midoca’s recent single “Expired Medicine,” released in 2025.
