Yardlights Studio is my recording and mixing studio in Los Angeles, built specifically for overdubs and mixing. The room is centered around a Mac Studio and Apollo Quad, paired with a Townsend Labs Sphere mic system, Undertone Audio GB Tracker, and and some handpicked items I use every day.
Monitoring is ATC SCM 20 with ATC subwoofer. These speakers are great for mixing. They are super transparent and don’t really color the sound which helps my mixes translate. The room is treated for acoustics, soundproofed and tuned for accurate frequency response by studio design consultant Drew Allsbrook.
