Mixing
I love mixing, and this studio makes it possible to consistently deliver mixes that translate. I enjoy helping artists take a production and turn it into a finished record they feel confident releasing. Accurate monitoring is critical to that process – this room was professionally tuned for balanced frequency response by studio design consultant Drew Allsbrook and is centered around my ATC monitoring system, allowing decisions that hold up across cars, earbuds, and streaming platforms.
I mix entirely in the box and prefer to work in the same DAW the song was created in, keeping sessions efficient and true to the original vision. I currently mix in Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro. All mixing is done remotely, and the process is collaborative.
Mastering
I offer mastering for your next project and can bundle it with mixing for a complete package. I also collaborate with closely with Elysian Masters, so for bigger, high-stakes projects we can bring them in to ensure your music sounds its absolute best.
Production
Making records from the ground up is how I got my start in the studio, and it’s still one of the most rewarding parts of the process. While many artists record at home these days, my studio is available for in-person sessions with myself engineering. We can efficiently track guitars and vocals in a comfortable, focused environment designed for great performances.
I have a particular passion for recording and producing vocals, and I’m happy to take on your vocal production to help capture performances that feel confident, expressive, and ready for the mix.
mentoring/ consulting
Teaching and sharing my knowledge of music is a core part of what I do. I’ve been teaching a wide range of music-related subjects for decades and enjoy helping artists unlock new creative possibilities in their work. My teaching spans music theory, audio engineering, guitar, bass, songwriting, and mixing, with lessons tailored to your goals and experience level.
Mentoring sessions are available over Zoom or in person at my studio in Los Angeles. These are fully personalized lessons—I meet you where you are and help you build a clear path to the next level.
I also offer consulting for artists who are recording at home. As more musicians work from their own setups, I help refine home studios, improve workflows, and get tracks sounding professional and ready for mixing.
